Goal

A goal is a statement of the purpose that motivates a decision analysis (for example, find the best candidate sites for habitat restoration). In decision analysis, the goal may be decomposed into one or more levels of criteria, which provide the specifications for testing how well each of two or more alternatives satisfy the goal.
