Transportation Modeling

A transport model is typically a mathematical model of a certain geographic area and the transportation system in this area, focusing on how traffic is generated in each sub-area of the model, how it is distributed between origins and destinations of trips, and how it is assigned to the various networks that enable traffic to move between different origins and destinations.
