Phase 3 - Condition Assessment

Condition assessment is a major phase of planning process, during which the current state of the system is critically assessed. A decision maker assesses the situation by domain data collection, modeling and analysis. For decision processes which adopt a multiattribute decision making approach, a set of criteria for evaluating alternative problem solutions will also be developed during this phase. This phase is often referred to as the \ intelligence\ phase in decision making process.
