Data Development

Based on the data inventory and assessment, it may be necessary to create new or update existing datasets. Various GIS processing steps may apply and then some level of quality control needs to be performed. Data documentation would include identifying data gaps, documenting the data standards needed, and creating or updating the metadata. Data versioning, naming conventions and migration would be the final steps in the data development process.
